Muslims in Media Statistics

USA: Muslim “refugees” – 91.4% on food stamps, 68.3% on Cash Welfare

From the website of US senator for Alabama Jeff Sessions.

They forgot to mention that these figures tend to remain more or less permanent with Muslim migrants. A very small minority  integrate themselves into the job market or make efforts to educate themselves and get out of the welfare system, as many European figures show. Prophet Mohammed was orphaned, illiterate and jobless, sustaining himself on crimes. So education and employment is not an important factor. In addition, the Koran encourage Muslims to collect jizya – blood tax – from kafirs, the non-Muslims, and welfare is looked upon as jizya. Collecting money from non-Muslims is considered a legal entitlement since the kafir is not entitled to any land or laws of their own anywhere, meaning their presence on a land or country of their own is a “theft” of “occupation” of what should be Muslim land.

CHART: More Than 90% Of Recent Middle Eastern Refugees On Food Stamps, Almost 70% On Cash Welfare

USA Muslim refugees 91.4% on food stamps, 68.3% on Cash Welfare

Immigration Subcommittee Background:

The statistics in the chart are provided by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  The ORR figures defined refugees from the “Middle East” as being from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, and Yemen.

During the time period referenced in the chart (FY2008 to FY2013), the United States admitted 115,617 refugees from the Middle East and granted asylum to another 10,026.  Also during this 5-year time frame, according to the Department of Homeland Security, the United States granted permanent admission to a total of 308,805 individuals from these same 10 Middle Eastern countries (designated as refugee-sending nations) through the issuance of green cards.

Those with green cards are Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) of the United States who may apply for citizenship after 5 years and bring their foreign relatives into the U.S. on green cards as well.  Refugees are required to apply to adjust to LPR status within 1 year of their admission to the United States.  The DHS 2013 report on Refugees and Asylees list the top ten countries, numerically, for refugee admission into the United States as: Iraq, Burma, Bhutan, Somalia, Cuba, Iran, Congo, Sudan, Eritrea, and Ethiopia.  More broadly, concerning all immigration, the Migration Policy Institute notes that the U.S. has taken in “about 20 percent of the world’s international migrants, even as it represents less than 5 percent of the global population,” and that 1 in 4 U.S. residents is now either an immigrant or born to immigrant parents.

The Census projects that another 14 million immigrants will arrive in the United States between now and 2025, easily eclipsing the highest previous historical watermark for foreign-born population share.

      • Of course not. The Iranian Shiites are non-violent, non-enabling, non-terrorist Kumbaya peace loving? Then there’s all the different Muslim groups terrorizing, raping, enslaving and murdering in Africa and Asia, not to mention that ISIS is not a Wahhabi satellite. Please read the history going back almost 100 years and feel free to tell me what you think isn’t so. This frequently updated website has been hacked and blocked numerous times.

Like any other immigrants, most Muslims seek a better life, often helped by community. The current problems and future here and in Europe are inevitably terrorism, typically enabled and abetted by liberal western law and an illogical expectation of winning hearts and minds. That’s a lost numbers game as more that 20% of Muslims worldwide approve of terrorism in the name of Islam and Shari’a. That’s over 300 million. If a mere 1% are current or potential terrorists and suicide martyrs, well…do the math. Google the polls.

  1. The reason “they” forgot to mention that “these statistics tend to remain more or less permanent” is because that is 100% BS that you just pulled out of your ass.

    • Yes, exactly. And the social security fund is already empty and in red. It’s called “unfunded liabilities”. Look it up. There is $211 trillion in unfunded liabilities, meaning money you and everyone else has paid into for old age and healthcare that has been used for other expenses. And what does this all mean? It means everyone else will be left without when the well runs dry. Muslims are the most prolific sponges on people’s tax money in all of society. No matter what country you look at no minority group lives off welfare to such scale as Muslims. And they sue their way into rights and entitlements to more freebies.

      • The “Unfunded liabilities” part of Social Security is a fraud used by the anti-Social Security people to try to cut or wipe out social security.

There is no problem funding social security as far as anyone can see, if they just decide to do it.

      • Most welfare recipients in America are lower-class whites conservative states.

There is no information whatsoever (aside form what you pulled out of your cavernous anus) that depicts welfare by religion in America.

      • The statement comes from US senator for Alabama Jeff Sessions. But since your head is so deeply immersed in your own anus, you seemed to have missed that part from the article.

      • Sorry, I forgot to add, the $211 trillion counts every person working today, and collecting social security, projected out to the life expectancy of the youngest people working today.

It is not money already paid in and spent on other things. That money is only the current account of the Social Security Trust Fund, about $2 trillion last I looked.

None of the rest is actually owed, and could be abolished by a vote of congress and the signature of a president. Of course that would end social security.

No one will be left without. At it’s worst social security is projected to continue paying 70% of promised benefits forever, at current figures. To pay full benefits at the highest period projected, The Economist magazine reported it would require just 2% of the GDP. Which becomes a simple problem to solve, all we have to do is bring back the jobs we exported, and restore tax rates to before GWB took office.

Which, BTW, requires we end our free trade agreements, which Trump got right.

As to Muslims, the real danger is Saudi Arabia, another point Trump got right.

  2. I’ve worked since I was 12 years old, never collected welfare or even an unemployment check. To read these statistics is disgusting. I have found that the people who come here hate us and treat us accordingly. It’s time to send these dirt bags packing. I’m tired of paying high taxes while these scums sit on their hateful rear ends. !
Maybe we should vote for Trump, he is the only one willing to address this !

    • Do you understand the meaning of refugees? That report covers only a 5 year period, starting in the middle of the 2008 economic meltdown.

Further, it’s 115,000 refugees, with no reference to excluding children from the count. That’s 1/3rd of the Middle Eastern immigrants, the others being ordinary immigrants.

The only time I lived on govt money was while in the service, and I retired on a pension and social security adding up to more than the average family, so I have done much as you have. However, I was successful enough not to let any hardships instill such hate in me that I ignore the facts.

Either you never had a significant period of unemployment, or you worked off the books. Which makes you luckier than most Americans. The scum who are sitting on their rear ends living well are the .1% who probably pay a lower tax rate than you do.

  3. Thanks obama, no inflation so the senior citizens and veterans in America get no raise in benifits because you give it to the your kin folk refugees.
How about Americans first, that is why you got elected. It was was a sad day for the American peaple to experience the minority experiment.
Let’s pray for the president be a man that works for the peaple here first. One that believes in god and respects seniors and disabled vets.
Go live in Kenya and take Hillery with you.
    Long live America

      • 70% of Middle Easterners in America are Christians.

America is not a Christian nation – as evidenced by the fact that you’re not murdering Jews, have outlawed slavery (which Jesus states is a natural condition), and celebrate homosexuality.

  4. For 2014, there are 3.3 million Muslims in the US. Will double by 2050. Represent 10% of total immigrants. 46% are educated at bacculearate level and over 67% at at least 12th grade. Income and employment figures show over 52% employed and making at least $90K per annum. These data are readily available from public sources including Pew Institute. Most posted comments here are those of the same false, irrational, and patently racist ignoramuses who come out from under bridges during the full moon and then refill their drugs for paranoia.

    • Don’t forget, the report is on immigrants, about 115K, vs the over 3 mill who are here already. That and 2008 to 2013, from the heart of the 2008 meltdown up to 5 years later.

So, yes, you have accurately identified a mass of ignorance.

  5. It’s been over a decade since I worked within HHS, but, as I recall, most refugees get 5 years of assistance to help them integrate and re-establish themselves in America. I had a number of clients that were illiterate mothers, that were discouraged from education and employment by their communities.

  6. They’re like leeches, sucking the life out of this nation. My husband, children, and I received welfare assistance for a while, but we hated we couldn’t quite make it on our own, and we never felt entitled. We took advantage if the training opportunities given us, and by God’s great grace, we earn enough money to live on our own and have been off welfare for many years now. It is possible!

    • 115,000 people are sucking the life out of a country of 315million? My how weak you must think the US.

Do you understand what refugees are? Did you look at the report? Those refugees were counted during a 5 year time period, starting with the middle of the 2008 economic meltdown, and ending in 2013. With Americans losing jobs by the millions then what chance did refugees have?

Also note that the 68% is for “some kind of cash assistance”. Not an identified program. The major programs have small numbers, such as TANF. Also TANF has a 5 year lifetime limit. So you have no idea what the actual numbers are. It is quite possible that assistance is maybe $20/month for a bus pass to get too and from work or school.

Yes, there are a lot of welfare programs you can qualify for even while working, Walmart and other low paying companies depend on that. Nobody working for less than $15/hr can support an average family on anything above near poverty without such assistance.

  7. Greetings from Idaho! I’m bored to tears at work so I decided to check out your

  8. Islam isn’t a race. Just because someone is Middle Eastern doesn’t mean they’re Muslim.

In America, nearly 70% of Arabs are Christians.

Sorry to disprove your narrative with facts, champ.🙂

    • Hm… a troll with a “jewish” name Goldstein (cough, cough!) with false pro-Muslim arguments. Sounds legit. You’ve just missed the part that we have 20+ experience in the Middle East, half are former Muslims. And yes we have already figured out you’re a Muslim troll.

      • Well, he’s right about Middle Eastern does not mean Muslim. Until the fall of the Soviet Union most Jews in Israel were Arabs. The influx of Eastern European Jews shifted the stats, but also meant an influx of Jews with no descent from Jews of Israel before the diaspora. Black African and Asian Jews are evidence of conversions.

As to Christian Arabs in America, I believe it. The US had a large influx of Christian Americans long ago. Toledo, where I live, has a large Arab population made up of such Christian immigrants.

Though I do doubt the number of 70% being accurate. It may not be possible to accurately measure such things, since the census only collects parent origins, not beyond that, and all other reports I know of rely on self reporting. Between intermarriage and simply identifying as white the numbers may well be skewed.

With a huge percentage of the Christian Arabs in this country being grand children or G Grandchildren it would be difficult to trace them without significant effort.

Nothing Goldstein said can legitimately be classified as “pro-Muslim”, since it doesn’t dispute the report. It is merely pro-accuracy.

That plus there are a lot of Jews who find the attacks on Muslims to be false and offensive, and that includes Jews in Israel, plus Jews who believe Israel should not even exist because Israel is not supposed to be restored until the arrival of the Messiah, suggests you are misstating his identification.

Oh, and I am neither Jewish or Muslim, but Catholic.

I didn’t miss the part where you have 20+ years experience in the Middle East, since it isn’t stated above. Nor would I have any reason to know you have half former Muslims among your membership. Of course, there could just be two of you so that means one former Muslim. I’d be more impressed if you counted current Muslims among your group.

Also that article references only immigrants, and according to your own article that’s about 115,000 people, and that’s a small fraction of the 3 million Muslims counted in this country, and only 1/3rd of the immigrants from that area admitted to this country in the same 5 year time frame, the rest being regular immigrants.

Oh, and the same report shows, of the top ten refugee source countries, only one, Iraq, is an Arab country. If the US had not totally F-U Iraq it would not be such a large source. Nor would the other Middle Eastern countries for that matter.

      • Our response was not to you, but to “Goldstein” unless you’re one and the same.

There are many reports in Europe, in far greater detail, that show a consistent exploitation of the welfare system by 80%+ Muslim migrants. And they don’t know how to reduce it as the Muslims have children after children and don’t want to work.

      • We are not “two”. Where do you get that silly idea from? We have volunteers from around the world. You’d be surprised of their background and experience.

Good try, but your math is a bit poor.

The idea that jihad started only after Iraq, a common argument, is such a poor grasp of Islamic history. Jihad and hundred of ISIS have been created over and over again since the birth of Islam. “Palestinians” are an example of an ISIS terror group created in the late 1920’s and rooted into Israel from mass migration. The flash mobs showing up in non-Muslim countries occurred time and time again and is part of jihad or ‘hijrah’. It’s intentional and eventually after a few decades the countries fold into greater and greater poverty from the burden of rapid Muslim growth which also brings a lot of violence and terrorism. In the end the countries turn Islamic. Over 40 countries have met this fate. There are no assumptions here. And American presence in the Middle East is simply an excuse. Their presence is paid for and demanded by countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, etc. It’s not an occupation. It’s the fine print by the Arabs in exchange for the oil trade.

      • My God, you can’t get anything right.

Your European stats are totally absent, Where is your link? Again we are talking about refugees.

Have Children after Children? Don’t want to work?

We are talking about a situation that has arisen in the last few years, and in a world where there are not enough jobs. Under those conditions how do you get any meaningful data?

And it doesn’t matter who your response was to, since it is an open forum.

Where did you get the silly idea I thought there were only two of you? Reread what I wrote. I said, “Nor would I have any reason to know you have half former Muslims among your membership. Of course, there could just be two of you so that means one former Muslim. I’d be more impressed if you counted current Muslims among your group”

“There could be” is one hell of a lot far away from “There is”.

Considering the shallowness of your commentary I most certainly would be “surprised of their background and experience.”

I would accept that “The idea that jihad started only after Iraq, a common argument, is such a poor grasp of Islamic history. ” However, since I never even suggested such a thing it is a non sequitur. We were talking about refugees, not jihad.

The only thing that could begin to qualify for that is my comment that the US F***ed up Iraq, otherwise Iraq would not be such a big source of refugees.

As to the math, the only part that is math is when I analyzed the report YOU cited. 115K is about 3% of 3 million, and 1/3rd of all immigrants is simple math also. It also happens to be correct.

  9. I asked a friend once ‘how can Muslims do the things they do, hate crimes, rape, murder, suicide and more. ‘ he told me the best answer he could give me was to read the Quran for myself because people twist things in their hearts and they true Islam has nothing to so with any of these things. So I took his advice and after having read it for myself can now say that Islam does not permit any of these things. The only exception being if someone is trying to kill you and you have no other option then and only then are you allowed to kill them.

  10. This is thievery and it is outrageous.
No one is entitled to the taxpayer’s hard-earned money. This is an absolute scam.

In my sorry state, our “state medical” JUST let people on specific plans get new dentures, I’ve needed them for 7 yr, lost my lowers, but need glasses? Screw you. Unless you’re 20 or under, or have very limited problems.. Glasses are horribly priced. 200% and more markup.. I was in the business before retirement.. SEND EM HOME, NO MORE!!!!!!!!

  12. If you come over to this country you better have the money to support yourself and your family. There are American citizens that need that money and those programs not foreigners coming over here and taking the money. You don’t have the money to support yourself get the fuck out
